Why research first

Small tests find big problems.

Good UX is measured, not guessed. These are the findings we design around.

What you get

UX and UI design services for London teams

From a one-off UX audit to a full product redesign: research, journeys, Figma prototypes, a design system and the code that brings it to life.

UX and UI design · built in-house

01

UX audit

A heuristic evaluation plus your analytics and session recordings, turned into a prioritised list of fixes ranked by impact and effort.

02

User research and usability testing

Interviews, task-based usability tests and surveys. We test in rounds of about five users, measure task success and System Usability Scale (SUS) scores, and share the recordings.

03

UX consultancy and product discovery

Workshops on UK hours to align stakeholders, map journeys and information architecture, and decide what to build first.

04

UI design and Figma prototypes

Wireframes, then high-fidelity UI and clickable Figma prototypes you can put in front of users and investors before a line of code.

05

Design systems

Design tokens, components and documentation in Figma and in code, so every new screen stays consistent and quicker to build.

06

Accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA)

Contrast, focus order, keyboard use, screen-reader labels and motion settings designed in from the start, to support your duties under the Equality Act 2010.

07

Product design for SaaS and apps

Onboarding, dashboards, settings and billing flows for SaaS platforms and iOS and Android apps, designed with the engineers who will build them.

08

Checkout and conversion UX

Checkout, sign-up and lead-form journeys reviewed against conversion research, then redesigned and A/B tested where traffic allows.

Process · 6 steps

Our UX process. Discover to measure.

Six phases, each with a clear output you sign off. You see work at every review, not just at the end.

  1. Step 01

    Discover

Stakeholder workshops, analytics review, a UX audit and user interviews. We learn who your users are and where they get stuck.

  2. Step 02

    Define

Personas, journey maps, information architecture and success measures such as task success rate and SUS score.

  3. Step 03

    Design

Wireframes, then high-fidelity UI and a clickable Figma prototype, reviewed with you on UK hours.

  4. Step 04

    Test

Usability tests in rounds of about five users. We fix what we find and test again before anything is built.

  5. Step 05

    Ship

Our own engineers build the approved design from the design system, so nothing is lost in handover.

  6. Step 06

    Measure

After launch we track the measures we agreed and recommend the next round of improvements.

Design that ships to code

The product you approve is the product that ships.

Most UX agencies hand over a Figma file and walk away. At Elgrith, the same team that researches and designs your product also builds it: front end, back end and QA. Designers sit in sprint reviews, engineers join design reviews, and the design system lives in code as well as in Figma.

  • One team from research to release, no agency-to-developer handover gap
  • Design tokens shared between Figma and the codebase
  • Designers review the built product before it goes live
  • Web, mobile and AI products, all from the same studio

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What London businesses ask us about UX and UI design.

A UX agency researches, designs and tests how people use your website, app or software. That covers user research, UX audits, journey mapping, wireframes, UI design, prototypes, usability testing and design systems. The goal is a product people can use easily, which usually means more sign-ups, sales and fewer support requests.
